To create the Choice Website we had to pick a topic we were interested in. We then made a website using sub-topics and examples that were connected to the main topic. We also had to include site structure, content guidelines, and style guidelines to make a bold, organized, and sophisticated website to present to the class.
The main goal of this website was to learn and grow on our Informational Skills. A website is a multi-media platform that everyone is eventually going to need to use in the future. We were taught the most crucial elements to incorporate into a website. This includes things like site structure, content guidelines, and style guidelines. Elements like these are crucial to creating an interesting and organized website that will be easy to share and explain to other people.
This sample demonstrates my current growth in Informational Skills because I know how to create a professional website and how to share information from many media platforms in a appropriate and interesting way.
I chose to share this on my portfolio because websites are one of the best examples to share information across the curriculum. Websites are also the best to learn about structure, organization, and design to make future projects more bold and interesting. One thing I would change is to change the theme and formatting of the website. I generally thought that my website was lined out in a weird and uncomfortable way in ways like how my information was so small and the sections were so large. Weebly makes this easy to change or redo.
